People need technical skills and knowledge to enable them to do their jobs. However some organisations stop there. How much more effective, motivated and inspired to work harder might staff be if a little time was invested in their personal development.
The Sales Team will benefit from taking time out to look at how they sell. I have heard salesmen say they don’t even try to sell to certain people as they will never make up their minds. How powerful would it be if they could adapt their communication style to appeal to all customers. My approach to sales skills looks at how to achieve that.
Customer Service is an area often overlooked. An understanding that we are all customers, internal as well as external, helps improve the overall service to the paying customer, which in turn improves the bottom line.
Communication Skills are key to business and personal success. Even when we are not speaking, we are communicating. Make sure that the message you are sending is the right one.
